Rendezvous at the Bar du Mercedes

At the end of the magic staircase, the Bar du Mercedes recaptures the atmosphere of the Anneés Folles. A lounge with Boulle furniture, adorned with palm motifs, powder pink, raspberry, purple and burgundy shades, and effects with the patina of the Rose Atelier decor painters. Opening onto a long bench, the rotunda-bar is surrounded by original, classified stained glass windows by the artist and master of Art Nouveau, Jacques Grüber. A highly sought-after glass artist of his time, he belonged to the famous Ecole de Nancy and collaborated on several ship designs with the architect Pierre Patout.

Breakfast is served every morning at the Mercedes Bar. Private parties, birthdays, parties, champagne tastings, surprise parties, cocktails, literary readings and secret conversations are regularly held here.
